Hotel
340 Stockton Street, San Francisco, CA 94108
Campton Place Hotel is one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in.
The hotel occupies buildings constructed between 1909 and 1934. But the environment and facilities you experience bears no relation to this age.
Business services are also comprehensive even extending to translation services. The conference and meeting rooms achieve and exceed expectations in both appointment and facilities.
Campton Place Restaurant has a superior reputation, having achieved multiple awards from the likes of Conde Nast, Gourmet and the AAA's Five Diamond award. Executive Chef Laurent Manrique hails from Gascony region of France near the border with Spain. After qualifying in France, Laurent gained experience in Los Angeles and New York before coming to San Francisco. We look forward to the opportunity to sample Laurent's cuisine on a later visit.
Located just North of Union Square, Campton Place is convenient for some of the best shopping in the world. San Francisco's business district is a short cab ride away and its tourist Meccas - Chinatown, Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39 and so on - are a just cable car away.
For what we found to be a vastly superior residential experience and for what promises to be a singularly good dining experience, try the Campton Place Hotel in the heart of San Francisco.
